What kind of work would you choose? And what does this reveal about what we truly value in a job? In this presentation, we’ll dive into the political and philosophical debates around what makes work meaningful and how society should fairly distribute both wages and the opportunity for fulfilling careers. We will step into the shoes of a well-intentioned manager or a policy maker, tackling tough questions about fairness and justice. We will discuss these controversial questions as analytical philosophers tend to do – blending intuitions with rigorous reasoning!
